LIGHTHOUSE
is my diploma project from 2020. Yes it's been a while, but I still love it,because it's a very personal work.
For me music is not just a pile of sounds, but a guide, a compass, a mentor, a shelter. It can support, direct, and serve as a bridge between inner world and outer reality. I chose the title Lighthouse (my favorite English word btw), to describe the literal and symbolic idea of the project — a journey through music to inner light that exists within everyone.

The black butterflies at the beginning symbolize all the limitations, negative aspects of beliefs that at eventually will cover you up.
With each step, guided by the music in the form of bird, the character goes through numerous internal conflicts and emotional states. This process reflects the importance of self-awareness and change, which occur through acknowledging our fears, doubts, and desires.
In the end, the character reaches a ghostly lighthouse, visible only to those who truly need it, which symbolizes the light that exists within each of us. The mirrors in the illustrations are used to represent the idea:
you are the light.
